Headline Speaker - Barbara Res
Barbara is known for being the first woman to oversee a major New York City construction site, when in 1979 she was employed by Donald Trump to build the world famous Trump Tower. She is equally known however for her outspoken views on the President and has been quoted extensively about his mistreatment of women, publicly opposing him in the run up to the 2016 US Election.
In addition to heading up the construction of some The Trump Organisation’s most iconic buildings from 1980-1992, Barbara has worked in construction and development across the U.S. and in Europe for almost 40 years, is an expert in dealing with sexual harassment and has written extensively about women in construction, with works including ‘All Alone on the 68th Floor: How One Woman Changed the Face of Construction’
